Do you have a valid Energy Performance Certificate for the property?
Do you have a current gas safety certificate?
Are smoke alarms installed to every floor of your property and are they fully operational condition?
Has a carbon monoxide been installed in accordance with the current regulations; in all rooms used as living accommodation where solid fuel is used?
Have you checked your tenants right to rent?
Have you provided your tenant a copy of the Governments ‘How to Rent’ booklet?
Have you protected the tenants security deposit in a Government approved custodial or insured deposit protection scheme?
Do you know whether your property requires a House in Multiple Occupation (HMO) Licence?
